“Talent is everywhere. Opportunity should be too.”

At IIT Kharagpur, we believe that where you study should never decide how far you can go. As we celebrate our Platinum Jubilee, we are proud to bring IIT-quality education to your campus through the Outreach Course Network (OCN). OCN offers engaging courses, hands-on projects, flexible learning pathways and mentorship from experienced faculty. It is designed to help you explore bold ideas, build future-ready skills and discover what you are truly capable of.

Your dreams deserve no limits. Neither should your opportunities.

The Outreach Course Network of IIT Kharagpur is a flagship initiative designed to move beyond passive access to open courses towards structured, credit-bearing academic partnerships with meaningful accountability and supervised learning. The Network offers a diverse range of approved Micro-Specialisations across emerging and established disciplines, including Artificial Intelligence, Materials Science, and other areas of contemporary relevance.

A dedicated governance structure has been established to ensure academic quality, coordination, and effective implementation. With the foundational framework now in place, the Network is progressing into its active rollout phase, engaging with partner institutions to facilitate wider access to IIT Kharagpur’s academic expertise and strengthen collaborative learning opportunities.
